Helen works with Calvary Church Castlebar in County Mayo. Her main responsibility is to help women in the church and community learn from the Bible and to live for Jesus in every area of life.

Helen grew up in Liverpool but her parents were from County Mayo and so, growing up, Helen enjoyed something of the Irish culture at home and when visiting her parents’ home country. She worked in London for many years and this was where she came to understand the good news of Jesus for the first time. Before moving to Ireland in 2016 she was working with a church in London. 

As the women’s worker for Calvary Church, Helen runs bible study groups and reads the Bible one-to-one with women. She helps run an after-school bible club for primary school aged children and leads a bible study for teenage girls.
