The main goal of a gap year with us is to give you the opportunity to experience Christian ministry cross-culturally.
You will live and work with our local partners from mid-January through to mid-June (five months) where you will be encouraged to disciple others, whilst you are also discipled.
Placements in Africa and Asia are below. Due to restrictions on numbers, and in order to facilitate the best team dynamics, you may be asked to join a different team from the one you apply to.
Please note that you will need to satisfy the following requirements to join a Crosslinks gap year team. You must:
- be a committed Christian.
- have a safeguarding certificate (can be done online).
- have an enhanced DBS check (can be done through Crosslinks).
If you are over 21, why not come along as a team leader?
Download our guide to Crosslinks gap year placements (both for members and leaders) here. The application cycle for 2024 has closed for members. Leaders can apply until 30 June 2023.
