Emi is studying for a BTh at the Centre for Pastoral Studies, Santiago, Chile.
Emi had the blessing of born into a Christian family and since she was a little girl, she believed in Jesus and his death on the cross and resurrection for her salvation. In her teenage years, she started serving at church, as part of the music team and Sunday school team, and through this grew in her knowledge and love of God and his word. However, Emi also battled doubt about her faith and, aged 20, faced some significant situations which helped grapple with her personal relationship with the Lord. Emi writes, ‘It was during this time that I truly recognise my spiritual condition, repented of my sins and decided to live a life following and serving Jesus who gave his life for me.’
After this, Emi continued serving at church and began to study the Bible thoroughly, completing some part-time Theology courses. In May 2020, Emi married Gastón, known as ‘Tore’, and joined his church in Mendoza, El Señor de la Viña Church, a small and recently revitalised church. Alongside her husband, Emi began studying Centre for Pastoral Studies in Santiago, Chile in February 2023. She would love to better understand God’s word for herself in order to return to El Señor de la Vina and teach it to others in one-to-one discipleship and Bible studies.
Emi needs £8,250 to cover her studies (which includes a 10% administration fee). This is made up of £2,750 for each of her three years of studies (2023, 2024 and 2025). Please consider joining Emi in gospel partnership, praying with her and supporting her financially.
