Gáston ‘Tore’ Perez Gibbons

Bachelor of Theology
Centre for Pastoral Studies
2023 – 2025

Tore is studying for a BTh at the Centre for Pastoral Studies, Santiago, Chile.

Tore is an Argentinian and is married to Maria, or ‘Emi’. Tore came to know the Lord aged 18, on a church camp retreat. He recognised he was a sinner in need of God’s grace, repented and began to follow Jesus. The last 17 years have seen Tore grow in his faith and love for Jesus Christ. Since Tore began serving in his local church’s youth group in 2018, a deep desire to study God’s word has grown.

Before getting married to Emi in May 2022, Tore was on staff as a ministry apprentice under Andrew Walker (Crosslinks mission partner) at their church in Mendoza from 2020. Tore highlights this period as a time of significant growth for him, particularly in his character, understanding of God’s word and maturity in his faith. Since February 2023, Tore and Emi have been studying theology at CEP (in Santiago, Chile) in order to be better equipped to teach others. ‘If it is the Lord’s will for my life’, Tore writes, ‘my desire is to be a pastor one day’.

Being able to study theology at the Centre for Pastoral Studies (CEP) in Chile would be a ‘great blessing’, and a chance to ‘dig deeper into God’s word for myself, how to faithfully teach it to others and how to pastorally care for people’, says Tore.

Please consider joining Tore in gospel partnership, praying with him and supporting him financially.
