Robbie and Lizzie Bellis along with James and Lou Clark work in a church plant started in 2020. There is a fabulous opportunity in this large university town to get involved in both local church ministry and a growing student work, as well as the chance to study 1-2 days per week at the Institut Biblique de Bruxelles, and to see Belgium’s sights.

You will be based with Gerald and Louise Mwangi, who seek to train youth workers across the country. You will be able to support them in their work, and have the opportunity to serve at local church holiday clubs.

Église de La Garenne-Colombes is a welcoming French Church just outside of Paris. You can come to discover ministry in a French speaking context and serve according to your language ability, gifts and previous ministry experience.

Possibilities would include: involvement in all church activities, preparing and leading Sunday school and different youth activities, participation in local GBU (French University Christian Union) activities, admin tasks, meeting church members and leading 1-2-1s. Keith and Louise, the church pastor and his wife, would also be grateful for help with childcare for their two boys.

The youth camps run for 10 to 18 year olds in France, Germany and Belgium for a week at a time during the summer holidays. You can sign up to help out at the camps as a leader, as a cook or as a participant. The camps are bi-lingual, so a fluency in languages would be helpful.

You will be working with Ken Irungu (a Cornhill graduate) to teach and disciple young children and teenagers.

The Moodys minister in large Ugandan refugee camps where many South Sudanese Christians and Christian leaders live. They also run preacher training courses in the camps and take trips into South Sudan itself to preach and to train.

You would be helping students at the Servants of the Word Bible School improve their English language skills. There is also the opportunity to teach English in local schools in the village (Enhanced DBS required).

Graeme and Bequi are passionate about equipping and discipling believers to rightly handle God’s word. They would welcome people with that same passion to come alongside them to learn and to minister to the people of Moldova.

Pardaugava Reformed Church have been asked to take over the leadership of an international church operating out of Riga. They are looking for committed Christians that would like to intern with them.

Joe and Rachel work with the GBU (the Portuguese equivalent of the CU). There is a great need to develop evangelical teaching in Portugal and they invite you to join them in their ministry.

JP and Sue have welcomed a language student most years and each one comes back saying how well they’ve been looked after and how the ministry they got involved in was intense, but incredibly worthwhile.

Matt and Helen Pope are working with people from across different denominations. They want to help pastors and their families to grow in their faith, to grow their churches, to train leaders and to be equipped to plant more churches in the future. They welcome anyone with a passion for God’s word to join them as they teach, train and disciple local Christians. Matt and Helen would arrange a church placement for you in one of their trusted partner churches.

The Walkers are involved in distinctly pastoral ministry with a focus on evangelism as well as leadership training.

Janet teaches English to students at The Centre and has many opportunities to share the gospel with them. You will assist with English practice and general relationship building.

The Robinsons run a Christian school and after school clubs, providing a safe space for children to study, play and to learn about the God who loves them.
