Christ Church South Cambs (CCSC) in Sawston, Cambridgeshire, is an Anglican Evangelical church plant established in 2006. It is a community of around 80 people. They are seeking ‘to make and mature disciples of Christ for the glory of God.’
Tim is an associate mission partner of Crosslinks. He and Lucy were part of a team sent from All Saints Little Shelford to start a new gospel community and further gospel work in South Cambridgeshire. Sawston is a village of 9,000 people of whom fewer than 5% would call themselves churchgoers.
Tim and Lucy pray God will continue to equip his people to be bold in their witness to Jesus and to be a group whose lives and community life so intrigues and attracts onlookers that they would want to find out more. Tim and Lucy have three children: Chloe, Oliver and Toby.

Two talks recently reached most of the congregation. Simon Pilcher (23 September) and Liz Halliday (4 October) helped us think about working for what lasts, being careful to assess motives and hold our work loosely…
Robbie Strachan did an afternoon ‘Revive’ for the whole church on 12 October, teaching two sessions on God’s sovereignty. With discussion and a chance for questions afterwards we were well served. We were encouraged to consider Gods hand over all circumstances, especially in the face of suffering and decision making. We had brilliant help from Ben Twiss and a team from Christ Church Cambourne, looking after 20 of our young people.
