Tim and Lucy Chapman

Tim and Lucy were part of a team sent from All Saints Little Shelford to start a new gospel community and further gospel work in south Cambridgeshire. Christ Church South Cambs (CCSC) was established in Sawston, Cambridgeshire in 2006.
Sawston is a village of 9,000 people of whom fewer than 5% would call themselves churchgoers. CCSC has grown into a community of around 80 people who seek to make and mature disciples of Christ, for the glory of God. They hope to be a group whose lives and community life so intrigues and attracts onlookers that they want to find out more.
Tim and Lucy have three children: Chloe, Oliver and Toby.

Encouragements
Two men came to our live Christianity Explored course, as soon as we were allowed to meet in person. One is very hungry and the other is glad he came. The women’s groups have fought the bureaucracy to meet in person in groups of six for the last few weeks, which has been a real blessing to them. We had 25 at our monthly prayer meeting (on Zoom) – in person we have often been only half that.
