Having grown up in a large, pseudo-Italian family, Luigi has a heart to share the gospel with Roman Catholics and particularly those in Italy.
Luigi spent three years serving in Bologna, working alongside JP and Sue Aranzulla at Forte Torre Evangelical Church. His particular focus was on the church's student ministry. He also got involved with the Italian IFES-affiliated Christian student movement (Gruppi Biblici Universitari) with Chris and Lizzie Brown.
Luigi is now back in the UK, studying at Oak Hill Theological College. After this, Luigi hopes to return to Italy for long-term service.

‘But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me.’ 2 Timothy 1:12
In this lockdown period we have all been turning to verses that encourage us that God is still at work even as we are so much more constrained. Many of us have found ourselves turning to 2 Timothy 2:9 and ‘the word of God is not bound’ for comfort, haven’t we? Whilst reading the surrounding chapters I was reminded how the whole letter is written by one utterly sure that Jesus will be victorious and the gospel prevail. I love how Paul’s command that Timothy guard the gospel deposit in 1:14 comes only after his confident recognition that Jesus will guard the gospel in his world until he returns. Whether Timothy is faithful to the gospel or not, Jesus will be. He will ensure it keeps being proclaimed in its true form until his second coming and so all the more reason to get behind its advance. Please pray that this truth would penetrate my dull heart and enliven me for unashamed gospel service.
