Julia is working alongside Joe and Rachel Clarke and their ministry with the Portuguese national Christian Union movement (GBU).
For her first year in Portugal, Julia is taking Portuguese lessons and sharing the gospel with other international students. As her language improves, Julia hopes to disciple students and encourage them in their evangelism.
Julia studied Music at Cambridge where she was actively involved with both her church and the Christian Union. After she graduated, Julia served as a UCCF Relay Worker followed by two years as a ministry trainee at Grace Church Greenwich in south east London.
I hope you're all really well and life is not too cold or wet where you are! It's funny how the Portuguese here are saying that this winter is unusually wet for Coimbra, and Japanese and Slovakian friends of mine are agreeing that there's been a lot of rain... and I've been thinking that it's not very bad at all! It seems that, on a world-scale, the UK is pretty rainy! (Sorry for the initial weather-chat, just trying to prove I'm still British at heart.)
I wanted to thank you all so much for praying and to share about how God is answering - especially off the back of mission week. Praise him for answering your prayers!
