James and Lou moved to Louvain-la-Neuve in the summer of 2019 to help start a church plant.
Louvain-la-Neuve is home to over 25,000 university students and has a growing working population but, before this church launched, there was no evangelical church there. Few young people are being reached and trained for ministry.
James and Lou have been living in Belgium since 2015, during which time they studied at the Brussels Bible Institute and served French-speaking churches in Brussels and south Belgium. They now hope to put into practice the training they received as they reach and equip students in Louvain-la-Neuve.
James and Lou planted the church alongside Robbie and Lizzie Bellis. James is overseeing the student work whilst Lou is supporting James, taking care of their three children and discipling women and children.

Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth.”’ Isaiah 12:3–5
We hope this finds you well, rejoicing in the great salvation of our Lord Jesus.
