Saw Myint Ko Ko Khaing

Saw is a BEST study partner at Myanmar Evangelical Graduate School of Theology

In Myanmar, 80% of the population are Buddhists and life is increasingly difficult for Christians. Despite this, Christianity is growing and there is a need for more trained church leaders to shepherd the growing body of believers.

Saw became a Christian aged 13 and has been attending St Mary’s Church in Mandalay since then. For the past five years he has been serving as one of the youth leaders and has been involved in the church’s music team. Saw would like to serve St Mary’s full-time as one of the preaching team and so he is studying for a Masters in Divinity to equip him for this. He writes, 'I will share the gospel and teach the Bible wherever I can because I believe that the word of God can change everybody.'

Training

Saw is studying for a Masters in Divinity at the Myanmar Evangelical Graduate School of Theology, Yangon. His course runs from June 2018 until February 2021.
