They run children's and teenager's clubs throughout the week, providing a safe place for children to play, alongside learning about the God who loves them. They also run a foodbank where they pray for the people who come and tell them about God. John and Gillian have seen a number of teenagers become Christians and run a discipleship class for them.
John and Gillian have three children: Leah, Natalie and Joel.

‘It was the best of times, it was the worst of times!’ A Charles Dickens quote about sums up these last few months for us!
Having to live in various temporary accommodation over the summer, especially with the girls home, was very challenging! But we were thankful to have made the decision that our house wasn’t safe and moved out the day before part of the ceiling fell onto our bed - the supporting beams having been eaten by termites. Finally, a few weeks before the girls went back, we were able to move into a new house and we have been so very, very thankful for that. It remains incredibly hard to see the girls leave again and it’s not likely that we’ll see them for a year once more. But they were so helpful while they were with us. One of the things they did was make a short video of the kids at the place of grace, to try and capture their joy at being there. If you have not seen it, you can watch it by following this link: https://youtu.be/CEaXEphJNXE
