Arctic Diocese

The Diocese of the Arctic is in northern Canada and stretches for 1.5 million square miles – one-third of the country’s land mass. Crosslinks mission partners were some of the first to take the gospel to the Arctic, beginning in 1923. Today around 55,000 people live in the region.

Crosslinks’ ongoing support to the diocese includes prayer and financial provision for clergy and organising a bible training conference for local bible teachers.

Ministry in such an inhospitable environment is tough but recent signs of God at work include a growth in youth ministries, a steady number of students at the newly re-opened bible college and new clergy serving some of the remote parishes.
