John Lobb

May – August 2018

John studied Spanish at university and then studied bible handling as part of the Cornhill Training Course. John had a few months in-between jobs and was keen to use this time to serve God in a Spanish-speaking country. He spent three months in Bolivia, serving alongside a local brother named Hector who he got to know whilst studying at Cornhill. John was based in Trinidad and Baures, supporting Hector's ministry by giving bible talks, as well as teaching and encouraging Bolivian Christians to read the Bible for themselves. John also trained people to teach the Bible to others – whether as small-group bible study leaders or youth and children’s workers - and shared the gospel with unbelievers whom he met.
