Clint lectures at the University of Cape Town and Sonia worked at Arise, co-ordinating church events to advocate for adoption and supporting adoptive parents. She also worked part time at Holy Trinity Church Cape Town. Sonia and Clint finished with Crosslinks in September but are continuing their work in Cape Town.

Thanks so much for your partnership in the gospel over the last 10 years.
Your prayers and support have been so appreciated. This is my final prayer letter; as you know my contract with Crosslinks is ending at the end of August. For those of you making regular contributions to me via Crosslinks, please don’t forget to cancel or re-direct those contributions from the end of August.
Thank you for your prayers about my transition back to Arise. Unfortunately Arise does not feel that they are in a position to pay me from August so, after some prayer, we decided that I resign and focus on developing the biblical counselling studies part-time instead, with the hope of becoming an online tutor long-term. I am currently finishing up at Arise - it’s been an emotional time and as I reflect on my time there I’m so encouraged to see God’s faithfulness. My final task at Arise is to co-ordinate the ‘Empowered to Connect’ conference, designed to help adoptive parents understand the impact of trauma on their children and teach them strategies to support them. The first day was very helpful and over 30 adoptive parents attended. We look forward to the final day on Saturday.
