Sindiso Tshuma

Sindiso is a BEST study partner at the South African Theological Seminary by distance learning.

Sindiso is from Zimbabwe and became a Christian as a teenager. After he finished school, Sindiso joined Johannesburg Bible College (JBC) to serve as an apprentice from 2015-2016. Whilst he was serving and studying at JBC, Sindiso attended Christ Church Hillbrow, where Crosslinks mission partner Ben Williamson is pastor. Sindiso has led the youth group at Christ Church and had the opportunity to preach in Sunday services. Ben recommended Sindiso for further theological study, so that he could better serve in the local church. Sindiso writes, 'I desire to serve the Lord in a local church, equipping the saints there to understand God’s word and teach it faithfully. I will serve wherever the Lord will put me, for the service of his kingdom. For this, I see that I need to be trained to understand the Bible further and how to preach it faithfully to others, to the glory of God’s name. I am a passionate preacher of God’s word and desire to correctly handle the word of God and to grow in my walk with the Lord and in my understanding of his word.'

Sindiso is studying for a Bachelor in Theology at the South African Theological Seminary. He needs £1,100 per academic year until the end of 2020 to complete his studies.
