November 2020

I was chatting with another missionary last week and we spoke about 'home'. ‘Where is home for you?’ she asked. ‘Hmmm I guess I have two homes, I have my home here and then I have home home.’
But where is home? It's a place where you belong and where you love and are loved – it’s a place where you feel secure (even when it's not a safe place!).
I came to South Africa as a one-year-old baby Christian. I came for adventure and to share the gospel – the gospel that one day Jesus will come back and either there is a room prepared for you in his house or there is not. I look forward to my forever home with Jesus and I look forward to being reunited with the many people that I have lost along the way here in South Africa.
There are more than a handful of people who have sacrificially walked this road with me – people who have worked with me, mentored me, read the Bible with me, prayed with me, fed me, donated to my causes, held me accountable and had the hard conversations. I can't thank you all enough for your faithful prayer and support.
In these final weeks in South Africa, please be praying for my transition as I prepare to return to the UK. Below are some photos from each of my years here.
