Grace Kavuma

Grace is a BEST study partner at George Whitefield College in Cape Town, South Africa.

Grace was raised in a Christian family, but grew up thinking that going to church and having good morals was what made him a Christian. When he was in secondary school, Grace’s mother corrected his thinking and challenged him to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Grace accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour aged 12 and has, since then, continued to grow in his knowledge and love of Jesus.

Grace joined George Whitefiled College (GWC) in 2015 to study for a Bachelor in Theology. After completing the course in December 2017, Grace is now studying for an Honours degree, which will enable him to study at postgraduate level. Grace hopes that in studying for a Master’s in Theology he will be better able to serve in local church ministry in his home diocese of Mityana, central Uganda, as well as train other local pastors to teach God’s word faithfully. On finishing his studies at GWC, Grace will return to Uganda and work for a local church in Mityana, as well as lecture at a small theological college there.
