Fidel Nyongesa

Fidel is a BEST study partner at Africa International University in Nairobi.

After graduating from university, Fidel did a ministry apprenticeship with iServe Africa (2010 – 2011). The bible teaching he received over the course of the year helped confirm Fidel’s faith and his desire to live for Christ. Fidel then spent two years in the UK, working and receiving ministry training. In 2013, Fidel returned to Kenya and began working for iServe Africa. Fidel's role includes involvement in the apprenticeship programme and overseeing iServe Africa’s other programmes: the six-month gap year scheme and the Utumishi Course (grassroots pastor training).

Fidel is also part of the leadership team of GracePoint Church, Kikuyu. This new plant came out of the need for faithful bible teaching in the area where iServe Africa is located.

As Fidel’s role and responsibilities grow, he has been recommended to pursue further theological education. This training will equip him better for training pastors and church leaders, and for preaching at GracePoint Church.

Fidel is studying the three-year, part-time MA in Biblical Studies course. He needs £2,800 per academic year until the end of June 2020.
