David Kleinhans

David is a BEST study partner at George Whitefield College in Cape Town, South Africa.

David grew up thinking that Christianity was just his cultural identity. He first heard a simple explanation of Jesus’ atoning sacrifice on his behalf when he was 22. He went from believing that being a good person could earn him a place in God’s kingdom, to trusting in Christ for his salvation. In the years after David’s conversion, God grew in him a desire to serve the Church in full-time ministry. He studied for a Bachelors of Theology (Hons) at George Whitefield College from 2016 to 2019 and is keen to continue these studies at Masters level.

David has been attending a young church plant for the past year and he serves there as an intern. He writes, ‘I love working in the church and I am looking forward to casting all my energy into it. Our church leaders are planning a student ministry on a campus near the church and they have expressed their desire for me to enter in this ministry in a formal role, once it gets off the ground. I am very excited about this!’

David is studying the two year Masters of Theology course at George Whitefield College from January 2020. He needs £2,450 per academic year until the end of November 2021 to complete his studies.
