Mission partners in lockdown

Our mission partners have captured on camera how they are adapting to lockdown. Pictured above, Josh, Chloe and Danny Howles in Uganda model their new face masks.

Andrew and Eunice Moody report that in Uganda the price of some medical supplies has more than tripled, making it very difficult to get what they need for the health clinics they work at. Pictured below left is one of the face guards Eunice made using local materials. Below right is the Symons family in Zambia wearing their facemasks. Like in Uganda, the Zambian government have made it mandatory for people to wear face masks when leaving the house.

John and Gillian Robinson in Thailand distributed food parcels to the children they work with (see photo above). Many children rely on the food they receive at school and so, with schools closed and parents unable to earn a living, countless families are going hungry.

In Kenya, Alison Talbert was involved with training in how to wear PPE when treating COVID-19 patients (pictured above). Below is a photo taken before lockdown when Alison taught local families about hand washing and prevention measures.

The Crosslinks gap year team in South Africa caught a repatriation flight back to the UK in April (pictured above). Before they left, team leader Kirsty recorded talks for online Sunday school at Hope Church (shown below).

Pārdaugava Reformed Church in Latvia are also pre-recording their kids' talks (above) and live streaming Sunday sermons (below).

Pictured above, Luke Foster in Santiago had to switch to teaching all his bible college classes online. Below, Mary Foster and children Barney and Martha are getting used to home schooling.

Below, the Burt family in South Africa are captured enjoying church at home.

In Czech Republic, Olomouc International Fellowship (led by Clayton and Mel Ryan) have been able to resume meeting together, in a socially distant way - see below.

In Naples, Mark and Jane Oden's church organised a foodbank to provide for local families in need - watch the video below for a taster.

Please pray for mission partners, for patience as they cope with lockdown measures and that the Lord would give them opportunities to share about their eternal hope.
