Eight team members, led by Christiaan and Karen Snell, will travel to the Cape Flats township in Cape Town in July 2026, to serve along side Alun and Debbie Burt.
They will have five main objectives:
- To befriend, encourage and serve the Burt family and the members of St Thomas Church
- To reach out to the community through a children’s holiday club
- To learn about other ongoing ministries in Cape Town by visiting them
- To grow in their own love and knowledge of God by learning about God’s church in South Africa
- To encourage those in Ireland by sharing prayer needs and testimonies of the work in Cape Town
They will spend most of their time at St Thomas Church, primarily helping to run a mid-week holiday club and attending Sunday services and midweek groups. They will spend time visiting and observing other ministries in Cape Town, and will enjoy God’s creation by spending a day exploring Cape Town.
