David and Kathryn-Anne are training for pastoral ministry in French-speaking Belgium, serving the local church and learning the language and culture.
David is studying theology in French at the Brussels Bible Institute (IBB) in the centre of Brussels whilst Kathryn-Anne is studying French on a part-time course and auditing lectures at the IBB.
David and Kathryn-Anne are placed in the local church where they are getting to know the church family and serving where the needs are. This placement involves preaching in French, possibly leading Bible studies and serving the young people. They aim to grow in their biblical and cultural understanding, in their serving and in their French language. They also aim to figure out where in Belgium they might serve the Lord for the longer term.
