Adam, Nomfundo, and daughter, Thandiwe, are based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, serving with The Bible Talks (TBT) — a non-denominational, reformed, evangelical ministry to university students, currently focusing on the province’s major universities. They aim to partner with TBT to reach the next generation of students with the good news of Jesus.
KwaZulu-Natal is a province rich in heritage and opportunity for the redeeming power of Jesus. IsiZulu, the most spoken language in South Africa, reflects its cultural depth. The region’s beauty is shadowed by challenges such as tribalism and spiritual insecurity, often shaping the backgrounds of many students. Drawing on prior ministry experience in semi-rural Fredville, they seek to engage students through outreach, evangelism, preaching, and discipleship.
Adam and Nomfundo will continue learning Zulu and connecting with students and locals to share Scripture in their heart language, while building relationships vital for their young family. Nomfundo also continues her Christian counselling work and studies with the South African Theological Seminary (SATS), aiming to bring trauma healing to the region.
