In Serbia, evangelical Christians represent less than 0.1% of the population. Churches are often small, insular and divided and so there is a great need for practical training to equip leaders.
Project Timothy was set up by Crosslinks mission partners but it is now led by local Riste Micev. Project Timothy’s main work involves training church leaders for preaching, evangelism and discipleship. They also provide courses to train church members in home-group leadership and one-to-one ministry, and translate Christian books and resources into Serbian.
