Karuna is a BEST study partner with Nepal Ebenezer Bible College. She is studying for an MDiv.

Karuna does not remember a particular moment when she became a Christian – she grew up in a Christian home, with her parents the first in their families to move away from following Hindu beliefs and practices. Karuna really appreciated being able to attend Sunday school and youth fellowship while she was growing up. As an adult, she is dedicated to personal discipleship and is part of her church’s leadership team.

Karuna says, ‘God has given me a heart of service and ministry. He has opened my mind and heart to understand how glorious, holy, righteous, justice and loving he is. This has compelled me to worship and serve him through any means.’

Karuna hopes to use her training to help Christian families to understand the Lord better so that they can run their homes and bring up children in a way which is consistent with the Bible.

Karuna is a year into her three-year course. She needs £2,750 to cover her studies (which includes a 10% administration fee). This is made up of £550 for 2022, £1,100 for 2022 – 2023 and £1,100 for 2023 – 2024.
