Joseph is a BEST study partner at George Whitefield College in Cape Town, South Africa.
Joseph is from Zambia and became a Christian at a Christian conference a friend invited him to when he was 16. Since finishing school, Joseph has served in church ministry alongside secular employment. In 2018, Joseph went to Proclamation Institute Zambia to train for ministry for a year. After this, he set up a small group meeting called Amazing Grace Fellowship, which then developed into a church. Joseph then moved to Chirundu, a town near the Zimbabwe-Zambia border. Here he began another fellowship group and this also grew into a church.
Knowing he needed to be better trained for his church leadership roles, Joseph went to George Whitefield College (GWC) in Cape Town, South Africa, to study for a certificate in Theology. When he completed this, he returned to Zambia and served at Grace Baptist Church alongside working as an engineer. Joseph led weekly small group fellowships, ministered in schools and colleges, and co-ordinated the music.
Joseph wants to enter full-time ministry and so is studying for a degree in Theology. When he completes the course, he will return to Grace Baptist Church and then lead a church plant into a new area.

Joseph is studying the three-year Bachelor of Theology course. He needs £2,900 in 2022, £3,100 in 2023 and £3,400 in 2024.
