Ilaria is a BEST study partner at Novi Sad Baptist Theological School.

Ilaria became a follower of Jesus when she was receiving treatment for drug addiction at a Christian rehabilitation centre. She shares, ‘I was a drug addict and I went to a Christian centre to cure myself and I met Christ who gave me freedom.’ Ilaria then stayed at the centre for 15 years, volunteering to help other people who came there. 

In 2018, Ilaria and her husband Nenad moved to Sombor to serve at the Protestant Christian Fellowship, alongside working secular jobs. At the church, Ilaria and Nenad set up a counselling ministry for addicts, helping people overcome addiction and find out the good news of Jesus. Ilaria now wishes to receive theological training to help her in this ministry at her church. 

Training
Ilaria is studying the four-year Bachelor of Theological and Biblical Studies course at the Baptist Theological School. She needs £385 per academic year until the end of July 2024 to complete her studies.
