Grayson is a study partner at Uganda Christian University.
Grayson was born into a Christian family and came to Christ when he was 14. After he finished school, Grayson studied for a Certificate in Theology and then worked for a Christian orphan support project before beginning in full-time ministry. After a year serving as an evangelist, Grayson studied for a Diploma in Theology and then served as a parish priest. In 2015, Grayson moved to serve a church in Biharamudo, where he has served ever since. He trained for a Bachelors of Divinity in Kenya for three years, equipping him to serve as the area dean in Biharamudo. Since 2020, Grayson has served as the general secretary for the diocese.
Biharamudo is a young diocese, having been formed in 2017. Though churches are well attended, there are not enough trained church ministers to lead each congregation. There are 93 churches but only 30 pastors, with the other congregations being led by lay leaders. Grayson hopes to help meet this need by training local pastors in situ. After he completes his course, he plans to offer training at different levels that will equip both established ministers and those just starting out.
Training
Grayson is studying for a Masters in Theology at Uganda Christian University from January 2022 – September 2023. He needs £3,850 per academic year to complete his studies.
