Flora is a BEST study partner with Kagera Christian Theological College. She is studying for a Diploma in Theology.

Flora was in her last year of primary school when her father became critically ill. Amid this hardship, she experienced the Lord’s power, comfort and presence and committed her life to following Jesus as her personal Lord and Saviour.

She says, ‘Having found Christ in the midst of a family crisis, I feel committed to providing pastoral counselling for the traumatised members of my community, and showing them that Jesus Christ is above all the trauma that comes our way.’

Flora also feels strongly that Christian leaders have a part to play in living out and speaking boldly and distinctively of their faith. The reliable Bible teaching on her course means she is able to face difficult discussions and questions from members of the community who seek to undermine the Christian faith. Flora now feels more confident and equipped to speak of the gospel in her roles in youth ministry, the church and in her community.

Flora needs a total of £3,175 for three years of study, from 2022 – 2025 (which includes a 10% administration fee).
