Fekadu became a Christian through the witness and testimony of his wife, Dinkee Kejalew. They are married with four children (Serra, Tolawak, Efera and Hika ). God used Dinkee and her life of faith lived out to her husband to change Fekadu’s heart. He accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour. Discovering the identity of the true God through the Bible was a revelation to Fekadu. Their local area is very poor and Christians also face opposition from members of different religions. There is also a lot of false teaching in the local churches. Witnessing the impact of opposition from other religions and false teachers, Fekadu recognises his need to be trained to correctly handle the word of God so he can lead people faithfully to the truth, wherever that may be.
