As a child, Diego was taught the Bible by his parents and he personally accepted Jesus as his saviour when he was 13. He says, ‘This totally changed my perspective because attending church was no longer just a religious activity but a part of the Christian life and an opportunity to serve God.’ Diego started serving in his church’s music ministry and helped lead the youth group.
After he left school, Diego studied for a degree in engineering but, on finishing this, decided to pursue full-time ministry instead of a secular career. From 2019 – 2020 Diego served as an apprentice at his church and now, on recommendation of his pastor, is undertaking further ministry training at the Centre for Pastoral Studies (CEP). CEP is in Santiago, Chile’s capital, but Diego continues to live in Viña del Mar whilst he studies, accessing the CEP classes online.
Diego needs £2,200 per year from 2021 – 2023 (this includes a 10% administration fee). Please consider joining Diego in gospel partnership, praying with him and supporting him financially.
