Dereje is a BEST study partner with Nekemte Christian Education College

Dereje had the privilege of growing up in a Christian family. He came to know Jesus through the music and preaching at his local church. He is passionate about sharing the gospel with those who have never heard it and helping new believers to grow in their faith.

Dereje is keenly aware of Ethiopia’s lack of trained ministers who can serve as disciple-making disciples. He hopes that his degree in Practial Theology from Nekemte Christian Education College will go towards meeting this shortfall.

Dereje needs a total of £2,605 for four years of study, from 2022 – 2026 (which includes a 10% administration fee). He needs £620 for 2022 – 2023, £635 for £2023 – 2024, £660 for 2024 – 2025 and £690 for 2025 – 2026.
