Daniel is a BEST study partner at Uganda Baptist Seminary.

Daniel is from Sudan but came to Uganda as a refugee when he was a child. Recent political developments in Sudan have made it possible for refugees to begin to return home. There are limited opportunities to train for ministry in Sudan and many Sudanese church leaders have not received any form of theological education. Daniel writes, ‘From where I come from in Sudan, a lot needs to be done especially in regard to programmes that teach believers what the Bible says and how to live as Christians. It’s my prayer that, though my theological studies, I’ll be equipped so that I can go back to Sudan and serve among my people. I dream of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached people of Sudan, specifically in the Nuba Mountains region. It’s my vision to, in years to come, God willing, start a theological seminary. I strongly believe that it would be more effective to reach the unreached people by training church leaders and sending them out.’

Training
Daniel is studying for a Bachelor of Theology at Uganda Baptist Seminary from 2021 – 2023. Daniel needs £920 per year.
