Cephas is a BEST study partner with Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology in Africa International University. He is studying for an MA in Theology.

Cephas had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and was led to Christ by his father when he was ten years old. He says, ‘Since I gave my life to Christ, I have had a very clear persuasion that God has saved and transformed me and to use me for his service.’ As a result, Cephas has been strongly committed to Christian ministry since high school. He joined the internship programme organised by the  Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS Kenya). He has served with FOCUS for nine years and is currently the Student Ministry Director.

While serving with FOCUS, Cephas relied mainly on personal study to be able to engage with theological issues he encountered. Because of this, and having grown up in a local church where the pastor did not have any formal theological training, Cephas is convinced that a theological education is necessary to equip him properly for his present and future ministry.

Cephas is studying for a total of three years, from 2022 – 2025. He needs £8,190 to cover his studies (which includes a 10% administration fee).
