Crosslinks mission personnel come in one of four categories: mission partners, short-term partners, study partners and mission projects. Employed by Crosslinks and seconded to a church or Christian organisation overseas for at least three years, mission partners are sent by their local church and supported by a wider team of churches and individuals. Short-term partners are volunteers who serve alongside established mission partners for at least two weeks and up to three years.* Study partners are church leaders and gospel workers whose training for Bible-teaching ministry is supported by the Crosslinks bursary programme (BEST). Project partners are responsible for indigenous initiatives to train Bible teachers or do frontline evangelism in their own country.
