Tom serves as the pastor at Eglise Emmanuel Etterbeek, a French-speaking church in central Brussels, in Belgium.
Brussels, the nation’s capital, is a multicultural city of more than one million people, where many languages are spoken, though French predominates. The Etterbeek district has a population of around 50,000 and only a few French-speaking gospel churches.
Tom is committed to seeing God’s word faithfully understood and lived out as people’s lives are transformed by the gospel of God’s grace. He focuses his time on preaching and teaching in a range of contexts: within the gathered church, in small groups, and by training Bible study leaders to handle God’s word rightly. Tom and Liz have two children: Lucas and Theo, and they are also involved in one of the InterAction Belgium summer camps.
