What is Paulina Cox doing?
Paulina Cox is a Chilean who has recently married Andrew, an Australian. She is a graduate of the Centre for Pastoral Studies in Chile, and now works for Moore College in Latin America as a translator. As well as translation, Paulina formats material and helps administer the Moore College course in Latin America via the internet. She also translates and checks other non-Moore College material.
Moore College in Latin America produces translations of teaching material (primarily from courses produced at Moore College, Sydney) to assist the training and equipping of church leaders, preachers and evangelists throughout Latin America.
Paulina works alongside Grahame and Patty Scarrat who have been involved with Moore External Studies courses and working in Latin America since 1980. The courses and books they translate reach thousands throughout a number of Spanish-speaking countries.
Objectives
By the end of two years, it is hoped that the Lord will have enabled the following to be achieved through this initiative:
To produce an increased amount of good biblical resource material in the form of External Studies courses from Moore College, as well as good books and resource materials that are enormously lacking in Latin America
To help facilitate an increased number of pastors and lay folk who have a better understanding of God’s word and seek to grow in Christ-likeness, thus ultimately helping to strengthen the Spanish-speaking church throughout the world
Costs involved
Crosslinks has agreed funding of £5000pa for 2007 and 2008. This covers around 40% of Paulina’s salary each year.
