This week please pray for the following:
Pray fro the country an people of Myanmar (Burma) following the impact of the cyclone. Pray especially for Christians affected, and for relief efforts to be well and fairly targetted. Pray for the part that Crosslinks plays in this (see also our special Burma appeal page)
Interviews took place on Wednesday 7th for an Operations Director. Please pray that we would successfully appoint the person of God’s choice. Give thanks for an accountant to temporarily help out with some of the financial management and related issues.
Pray for those working on the Crosslinks Review, that we would be wise and quick with the next stages of the review.
Jo Sayer continues her trip in Tanzania, visiting Iringa, Dodoma, Tabora and Kagera; until the 15th May. Jo will be visiting Crosslinks mission partners, associates, study partners and many Bishops. Please pray for safety in travel and for good health. Please pray also for wisdom in all conversations, for her to be an encouragement to the mission partners and for partnerships with Dioceses to be renewed and new ones started.
Please pray for the Gambia and Uganda SMILE teams who will be returning to England in the middle of May after their four months in Africa. Please pray for them as they leave the friends they have made and return to their homes here. Pray for them as they re-enter their home culture and adjust to England again.
Please continue to pray for Janet Horsman who is now signed off work until mid May with stress. Pray for Janet as she goes to see Interhealth - that she might be given good advice and help.
Please continue to pray for the country of Zimbabwe and for Kate who is back in England and still uncertain as to when to return to Harare. Please pray for wisdom in her decision-making and for justice and peace to be restored to the country.
Please pray for Peter and Jackie who will be visiting mission partners in North Africa from 17th to 26th May. Pray for safe travel, good health and positive and encouraging conversations with our mission partners who work in this part of the world where it is difficult to be a Christian and where evangelism is a challenge.
