Pray

Why pray?

Psalm 127:1 “unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain”

It’s a well known verse, but do we really believe it? Amongst the busyness of meetings, strategies and programmes, it is easy for prayer to become marginalised.

The work of Crosslinks, and its means of mission across the globe, can achieve nothing without the Lord working. Yet the Lord, our Heavenly Father, loves to hear us pray, and indeed works through us as we turn to him in dependence, through prayer.

What a privilege prayer becomes as we come to Almighty God, as our Heavenly Father, and ask him to accomplish his purposes, and bring in his kingdom, in our hometown and across the globe.
