Heidi Munson

Heidi has nine years experience as a Religious Studies teacher and assistant housemistress in England. She has already spent several months in Uganda, during her gap year and holidays  both leading teams and volunteering independently to work with street children ministries. There is great need in Uganda amongst these children, and Heidi is grateful of he opportunity to serve in Uganda for the next two years working with the African Hearts community organisation.

Heidi’s ministry is primarily as 'house mum' in a home in Ssenge near Kampala, where she looks after 16 boys who previously lived on the streets. Heidi helps with their rehabilitation and cares for them practically and spiritually; playing sport, helping with homework, mending clothes, giving medical care, and running a daily time of devotions, encouraging them to consider the truths of God’s Word and its application to their own lives.
