Prayer Update August 2008
Dear friends,
Just a quick email to give you and update and ask you to pray.
We have been meeting in a church – a PPK church – right next to the university grounds.
Last week we were told that the denomination would be pleased to sell it to us. We saw those with the authority to sell it on Tuesday afternoon and put in our offer – which they were happy with. We will have an answer by next Tuesday. The week delay is so that they can check with the members of the church. Sadly the church has been shrinking, and we are told there are only 6 members. Although the church is in administration with the central body, they are keen that there is a unanimous vote concerning the sale of the building. Please pray. The plot is large, well located, and the buildings could be used as they are while we change them into a college. There is also plenty of off-street parking.
Please also praise God with us for a great leadership moring with Paul Willams. There was a variety of church / denomination / ministry leaders there, and the morning was hugely appreciated by all, and several days later we are still getting positive and grateful feedback.
