Bob has a BD in Theology from Cardiff, but is very much a practitioner. He has trained and led mission teams both in the UK and abroad. He is passionate about evangelism, and church planting, and has recently written a book entitled ‘Living Outside The Box’, which tells of the amazing growth of All Saints Church in Peckham during Bob and Jane’s time there. He will be teaching and training pastors and evangelists to go out and plant churches in villages where the Gospel is not well known– but it will probably be impossible to confine him to a classroom – he’s going to want to be out there doing it too!
Jane, the granddaughter of a missionary who taught pastors in Uganda, is a Bible teacher and a trained counsellor, with a specific heart for reaching young women and mothers. She has been involved in school development and in running parenting courses. She has worked alongside Bob in the many different churches they have been involved in, as well as being a mum to their four children.
Following on from the excellent work that previous mission partners Paul and Philie Hunter have put in over the last nine years, Bishop Dudley Mageni (of the Diocese of Morogoro) and the Principal of the Bible College have asked Bob and Jane to come out for an initial period of three years to teach at the college.
