Jem works as Field Director for Trust in Christ, a charity that encourages grassroots pastor training initiatives across the global South in order to strengthen the local churches. This involves providing well-targeted grants to local leaders and organisations in a number of countries and backing this up with visits, resources and other forms of encouragement. Lucy works for a human rights initiative that is focussing on issues of displacement and citizenship in the Great Lakes Region. Hudson, Tess and Charlie are pupils at the International School of Cape Town.
