Prayer Letter September 2007
Dear beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord,
We greet you all in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the One who was, who is and will be forever. May His grace and mercy always be with you forever.
There has been quite a lot going on here in Togo over the last few months :
FAMILY NEWS
We are no longer three in the family since the last 20th August 2007. My wife Melani has delivered a new baby girl that we named Daniela. She is a lovely baby girl. Our son God's love is very excited to have a sister with whom he will be playing. We praise God for His mighty deeds.
I'm sending this news from Dapaong while my family ( Melani and God's love and Daniela ) is at Lome ( South of Togo where Melani delivererd her baby).They will join me at Dapaong as soon as possible. Dapaong is a bit far from the capital town ( 650 km ). It's not safe for Daniela to make such a journey yet. My junior brothers and sisters at home are also fine by God's grace.
Sena and Jane and their children are doing well also here at Dapaong.
MINISTRY
We give glory to the Lord Jesus who is building his church as promised. We are just vessels in His hands in the vineyard.
In the coming three months , we ( Sena Benoit Gegg and Nakpergou ) will be giving some teaching on the LEADERSHIP at TANTIGOU.
Remember , we will open a new branch at Tantigou in January 2008. Therefore the leaders need some solid teaching before we start the service there.
We are projecting to buy some drums for the choir and musical group. But at the moment we have no means. Please pray for the Lord's provision.
We are happy to see our young plants growing up day after day. Only we have some of them being uprooted by some unknown people. We shall replace them as soon as it's possible.
Day after day we are receiving new faces in the church and we are very much encouraged.
Past and recent and coming EVENTS
Just in last August 2007, several villages of Dapaong have been flooded. So many people have been killed . People lost their animals, birds, and crops. Therefore the price of the cereals is already increasing in the Savana Region. What a sad event !
Coming to the politics of the country, we are right now in the period of campaign for the MP election. therefore there are a lot of manifestation at Dapaong and in the whole country of Togo.
We will vote on the 14th October 2007.
PLEASE PRAY FOR :
- The safety of our families
- The people affected by the recent flood
- The three months seminar at Tantigou
- The safety of the vote on the 14th October in Togo.
- The spiritual growth of the church at Dapaong
- God's assistance in accomplishing the projects.
