The General Council

Members and the General Council

Members and the GC share a common purpose - ensuring Crosslinks is carrying out its work effectively, efficiently, and above all, for Christ. The GC is answerable to the members at the Annual Meeting of Members (AMM). Members are active in this relationship, particularly in nominating and electing the GC. A culture of information sharing exists so that members are sufficiently informed and the GC are enabled to carry out their governance responsibilities.

General Council facts: The General Council is made up of a maximum of 8 elected members up to, 4 co opted mem-bers, and representatives from Trinity College Bristol and the General Synod. A General Council member engages with Crosslinks over 3 afternoons a year and a 30 hour residential.
