Seeking Europe's Lost

Across Europe, nations that were some of the first to hear of Christ are now nearly devoid of evangelical Christians. At these summer events, some of our Mission Partners in Europe will be joining us to share how God is working to ‘seek and save the lost’ in environments increasingly hostile to the gospel.

London - Tuesday 27 June

St. Botolph’s without Aldersgate, EC1A 4EU, 5pm – book here

Mark Oden is a Crosslinks Mission Partner in Naples, Italy - a city with widespread dependence on religious sacraments and a startlingly low number of native evangelical believers. On 27 June, Mark will share his experience of planting a church in Naples. Local Neapolitan Christians Francesco and Milena will join Mark and help explain why Italy is a field ‘ripe for harvest’.

5pm Annual General Meeting
A chance for Crosslinks Members to hear the latest business and appointments of new trustees. All are welcome to attend.
5pm Garden Party
For those not attending the AGM, refreshments will be served in Postman’s Park.
5.45pm Seeking Europe’s Lost
Mark Oden will speak about his ministry ‘seeking Europe’s lost’ in Italy.
7.30pm Dinner
An opportunity to meet with Crosslinks staff, friends and Mission Partners over dinner. The cost is £16 per person and places must be booked in advance here. Please state your meal choices when you book - the menu can be viewed here.

DIRECTIONS: The entrance to St Botolph’s is in Postman’s Park, which is on Aldersgate Street/St Martin’s Le-Grand. It is a five minute walk from both St Paul’s and Barbican tube stations.

Belfast - Friday 30 June

St Elizabeth’s Church, Dundonald, BT16 2LP, 7pm – book here

Trevor Watson is a Mission Partner in Gothenburg, Sweden. He will be flying over from Sweden for both the Crosslinks summer events in Ireland, to share his experience of gospel work in a nation that is now a spiritual wasteland. Churches are closing and many that remain have turned away from the truth of God’s word. Trevor will speak from the book of Lamentations: he will lament the desolation that occurs when God’s people turn away from God’s word; remind us of God’s steadfast love and faithfulness towards his people; and encourage us in our partnership together as we seek God for the reformation and restoration that Sweden so desperately needs.
