Oscar came from a Christian family and when at school, he was made chapel prefect, helping to lead worship and prayers.  However, as he had not made any firm commitment to following Jesus, he was disturbed of heart, “How can I lead people to where I don’t know?” and pulled out of chapel leadership.  Late one night, Oscar heard the Lord’s voice and challenge to repent, but then to witness his repentance in front of the whole school, which he did, much to his school friends’ surprise.

Oscar trained as a teacher and became chaplain in a primary day and boarding school.  In 2007-2008, he came to the UK as a volunteer worker with All Saints Peckham in London.
