Some years ago, Denshill became a Christian following his pastor’s challenge at a midweek Bible study group where, although knowing about Jesus, he hadn’t personally accepted all that Jesus had done for him on the cross.

Feeling God’s call to full-time ministry, Denshill became Ministry Apprentice at St Thomas Church, Heideveld.  However, while serving on this programme it became clear Denshill should take more formal training.  Denshill will be one of the few theologically trained men from the Cape Coloured community in the denomination, and has a view to working in the church in the local areas where he grew up.

Denshill’s training

Denshill is studying for a Bachelor in Theology (Pastoral Ministry) at George Whitefield College, Cape Town and will finish in November 2012.  He is married to Rochelle, and they have a daughter, Leah (2), and a baby son, Liam.

Denshill requires £1,940 per annum for two years (2010-11, 2011-12), which includes the 10% BEST administration charge.
